Inspiration
Our team is passionate about the power of AI and automation to simplify complex tasks. We were inspired to create an intelligent agent that demystifies the insurance-shopping process, helping users find the best deals with minimal effort.
What it does
Our platform provides a seamless, automated experience for the user from start to finish: Instant Inquiry: A user fills out the simple "Get a Quote" form on our website. Smart Automation: The form submission instantly triggers an n8n webhook. Value-First Contact: The user immediately receives an automated email featuring dynamic ROI (Return on Investment) proof tailored to them, along with an SMS asking if they'd like a free consultation. Automated Booking (If "Yes"): If the user replies "Yes" to the SMS, the agent automatically books a meeting and adds it directly to their Google Calendar. Polite Follow-up (If "No"): If the user declines, they receive a polite follow-up email with a link to book a meeting at their convenience, ensuring no lead is ever lost.
How we built it
Our tech stack was focused on speed and power, integrating two key components: Frontend: A clean, responsive website built with Lovable. Backend Automation: A complex, multi-step workflow created in n8n, which serves as the "brain" of our agent. This workflow is connected to the website via a webhook.
Challenges we ran into
As beginner programmers, our primary challenge was the steep learning curve. We had to learn our chosen tools (Lovable and n8n) from the ground up while simultaneously designing and building the project. This required rapid iteration and on-the-fly troubleshooting.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Our biggest accomplishment is building a fully functional, end-to-end demo of an AI insurance agent. Despite being new to these platforms, we successfully integrated a web frontend with a complex backend automation workflow. We are proud to have taken an ambitious idea from concept to a working product.
What we learned
This project gave us a deep, practical understanding of workflow automation using n8n and rapid web development with Lovable. A key takeaway was the importance of prompt engineering; we learned that precision and clarity in our prompts were critical to achieving the desired results from the AI.
What's next for TuNi-automation
We see this project as a strong foundation. This spring, we plan to take the lessons learned and our new expertise in AI and automation to compete in future hackathons. We are excited to keep learning, building impactful projects, and contributing to positive change.
