Inspiration
We want to reduce the number of deaths that occur due to hospital inefficiencies ie inadequate medical supplies, misprespriction of drugs , poor medical services and bureaucracy that breeds corruption within the healthcare sector.
What it does
Our solution empowers health facilities to make data driven decisions that are centered around the needs of the people
How we built it
We've built a tool that medical practitioners can use as a reference for accurate prescription information The tool can also be used to complement understaffed facilities
The tool also uses historical drug dispensation data to know what the hospital needs and when they need it with an aim of curbing issues to deal with stock outs and overstocking of medical supplies.
The tool also takes into account patient feedback to improve services

What we learned
Healthcare can be improved by using a system that is reliant on data for decision making.
What's next for Tunga
Scaling this up and making sure the idea is out there to help imprive out healthcare and also get feedback on where we can improve it.
