Tunes and Tonic

Inspiration

All of us are very inspired by music and love art, so we decided to create something that corresponds.

What it does

Our project is a React app that generates three music album recommendations that correspond to the user’s inputted mood. Our algorithm will respond with unique album recommendations based on their emotions.

How we built it

We used the react framework and javascript library as well as CSS.

Challenges we ran into

We faced challenges with Node.js and were all beginners with React app which presented a learning process for us all.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to use the react framework despite having little experience.

What we learned

We were able to gain familiarity with the React framework.

What's next for Tunes and Tonic

Next, we want to work on more backend integration into our project to make it more fully functional and further customize the music recommendations.
