Inspiration

We love music and Kahoot

What it does

It is a Kahoot-style guess gaming where you can login with your Spotify account, join/start a lobby which takes yours and the other players top songs and then gives your a short amount of time to guess and then shows you the leaderboard with everyone's score

How we built it

We built the Backend with GoLang Fiber and Spotify API. For the Frontend we used React with Vite, TanStackRouter and Tailwind CSS

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges with handling the websockets and connecting them with the Frontend, , we also had issues with hosting, cookies and sleep deprivation

Accomplishments that we're proud of

That we have a working project that we somehow managed to pull together

What we learned

TypeScript is an awful language, communication is very important and that we'll be back next year!

What's next for Tuner

Big big big refactor along with a total overhaul for the game logic
