Our inspiration came from creating pop up universities to the address global challenges such as reducing plastic waste. We realised how limited our video meeting platforms are from a host perspective and how restrictive there are as a guest.
What it does - Tula makes it easy to facilitate large groups in virtual or hybrid space. It does this by proving the hosts the ability to programme and pre programme their gathering using the session builder.
How I built it - prototype build using react JS
Challenges I ran into - video is challenging. Up until the the mass transition to virtual working not many people understood what value we have. They do now.
What I learned - Many of our video meeting spaces are designed for business and little else.
What's next for Tula.town - Build a working MVP to realise to our awaiting beta community.
