Inspiration

My father runs his own coaching classes. Seeing him spend hours on tasks like attendance, managing records, studying data to get insights, as a developer always tempted me to come up with a solution to get these hours of work done within seconds.

What it does

This project manages the attendance database, gives useful insights in the form of interactive graphs, stores students' records, and also shows the data in interactive tables.

How I built it

I built this project in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Plot.JS, Tabulator.JS

Challenges I ran into

Working with the asynchronous part of JavaScript really posed a great challenge to me. Coming from a Python background, understanding this concept was difficult.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Getting a better grip on JavaScript, its frameworks, and making a full-stack application, are the achievements I'm proud of.

What I learned

Learnt JavaScript better, learned how to work with frameworks, and how to combine frontend with backend.

Gifting this software to my father, teachers who spend hours of their precious time is what I look forward to 🙂
