Inspiration

Our team was moved to take action by the significant number of students who face difficulties attending their professors' office hours because of scheduling conflicts or a lack of awareness about tutoring resources that could assist them in their studies.

What it does

Tuberz is an innovative online community that brings together tutors and students. Our app provides students with quick and easy access to tutors who can help them with their coursework. In addition, Tuberz allows users to browse through archived course exams and related textbooks, making it a one-stop-shop for all their academic needs.

Our app is designed to be flexible, with the option for users to switch between their teacher and student profiles within the navigation panel. If students need immediate assistance, they can utilize the messaging feature to connect with tutors in real-time. With Tuberz, academic support is just a few taps away.

How we built it

To present our project idea, we utilized Figma as our primary tool.

Challenges we ran into

During the development of our project, we encountered challenges in determining the most appropriate information architecture. With numerous options and pathways available for our app, identifying the most efficient and user-friendly approach proved to be a difficult task.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We take great pride in the concept of our app and the potential it holds to positively impact a student's academic journey. Being part of this development process is a source of great satisfaction for us.

Our team's collaboration was a key factor in creating a product that we are all proud of and can wholeheartedly support. By pooling our ideas and resources, we were able to bring our vision to life and develop a product that we believe will make a difference in the lives of students.

What we learned

We learned that before beginning any design process, it is crucial to brainstorm and communicate ideas openly. To ensure that we were on the same page, we shared and discussed our ideas extensively, asking each other questions and providing feedback. This approach helped us gain clarity on our goals and solidify our plan before moving forward.

Furthermore, we discovered that working together simultaneously on the project was more efficient than working independently. By collaborating in real-time, we were able to streamline our workflow, minimize errors, and optimize productivity.

What's next for Tuberz

In order to refine our project and ensure that it meets the needs of our target audience, we plan to conduct user interviews. By gathering feedback directly from users, we hope to gain insights into their preferences, pain points, and areas for improvement. This information will be invaluable in guiding our design decisions and refining our product.

Additionally, we plan to pitch our ideas to various stakeholders, including potential investors and partners. By sharing our vision and getting the word out, we hope to generate interest and support for our project, potentially leading to the creation of a successful product.
