Inspiration
Understanding how important COVID-19 testing is and how it relates to helping India. We find the standard COVID testing practice is fascinating and wanted to incorporate that in our project.
What it does
Take PCR COVID testing and condensing into a at-home COVID testing kit
How we built it
Policy project: wrote a report/document about the technicalities and how the product works.
Challenges we ran into
Understanding/brainstorming the reliability and accuracy of the test.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Fantastic collaboration with the team (everyone had a part). Together, we came up with the idea and researched.
What we learned
Social issues, how humanities are tied to engineering (India's COVID crisis), current technology.
What's next for TTWH COVID Home Testing Kit
Decreasing the time interval it takes to receive test results, expanding the vision, abolishing, continue to eliminate the limitations for a better product.
