Inspiration

A big inspiration for @ttract was mid 2000s-early 2010s scene and emo aesthetics. We really wanted to incorporate a creative atmosphere as well as providing representation to those who dress and express themselves more "alternatively". MySpace and older computer websites also contributed to the inspiration for @ttract.

Connection to theme

Attract positive comments and avoid negative ones. You never know what you might attract online! (also the username is @ttract ofc :))

How we built it

Developed in Godot Engine, our team members utilized our coding, graphic design/artistic, and problem-solving skills into the making of @ttract.

Challenges we ran into

Technical problems such as merge errors as well as learning everything on the spot due to unfamiliarity with Godot.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Not giving up even when it gets hard and seeing the teamwork and effort put into the making of @ttract. We're not only proud of the final product of @ttract in itself but also each of our lovely team members that made it happen.

What we learned

How to use Godot and the fact that GitHub can be really annoying at times. (We're tired of the merge errors</3)

What's next for @ttract

Planning to play around with the 3D aspects of Godot and to improve the artwork.
