Team CryptoGraphy drew inspiration from the general consensus that Crypto is a mystery combined with the love of philanthropy and Chicago.
Our website educates on the basics of Crypto in a simple and fun multiple choice game. The user may need to decipher words using our Caeser Cipher to uncover the correct answer from the four choices.
We built the CryptoGraphy website with the programming languages HTML, CSS, and JS. The programs FigJam, Bootstrap, and GitHub facilitated the creation.
Building a cipher was quite challenging, the original plan was to use Python yet ultimately it was written with Javascript. The major challenge arose while applying the Python code to the website tied with the time constraints of a weekend hackathon.
Team CryptoGraphy is proud of the way we pushed boundaries with the commitment to learn and apply a complex idea that was completely new to all teammates. There was a roller coaster of roadblocks, new workups, and emotions it took to make it happen. We showed massive adaptability during the entire process and perseverance through many, many hours of configuring the workable cipher.
We learned that teamwork, adaptability, and perseverance is Team CryptoGraphy’s key to success!
