Inspiration

We saw many employees who had many emails to go through in their morning so that they do not miss out on what is happening, this took a lot of time away from their mornings. So we decided to solve this problem and create email.ext.

What it does

The extension summarises the latest emails for you every morning and presents in an easy to digest manner. It mentions every important details so that you do not miss out. It automatically detects if someone is asking you to do something and adds it as a task which is included in your summary.

How we built it

We have used the react javascript framework along with tailwind css which makes up our frontend and flask for our backend.

Challenges we ran into

We had some problems marking the important contents and generating responses but we overcame that as we progressed.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our extension uses machine learning to present the summary of your latest emails in a human like manner such that you will feel like you are talking to your assistant.
Our extension does not miss out on any important details, let it be a name, location or time, our extension presents it in a simple manner which is easy for you to digest at a glance.
Our user interface is elegant, simple and minimalistic meaning people can use it with ease.
