Purpose
TryOnSwap is a project I build to help people explore outfit ideas before preparing a visual concept. It brings a person photo and garment references into one editing workflow.
What it does
Upload a person image and a clothing reference to generate an AI outfit concept. Review the result for garment details, pose, lighting and artifacts. A generated image is a visual suggestion: it does not measure the body, establish garment fit or guarantee how a real item will look.
Implementation
The web application uses React and TypeScript with TanStack Start and Cloudflare deployment tooling. The interface keeps the person and garment input roles explicit so the user can review the references before generation.
Design considerations
Useful outfit exploration depends on clear source photos, appropriate permission to use them, and a careful review of the generated result. Previews and paid credit options have different limits; check the current product terms before generating.
Project ownership
I am the maker of TryOnSwap. This is a self-authored portfolio entry, not an independent product review.
