Try Redline is an AI-assisted critique workspace for digital artists. Instead of generating art for the user, it helps them improve a work in progress. Artists can upload a sketch or painting, get visual critique marks directly on the canvas, test alternate lighting, check readability at thumbnail size, isolate weak areas with Focus Region, and receive a short next-pass plan. The goal is to help creators make stronger decisions before they spend hours polishing the wrong thing. We built it with Next.js, React, Gemini, and a custom client-side image-analysis pipeline for relighting, readability, framing, and structure overlays. Redline is designed as a mentor, not a replacement, which makes it a more creator-first use of AI for the Digital Media & Creativity track.
