Inspiration
I've observed and experienced how stressful a student's life can be. I wanted to build something that could make a student's life easier and help them feel happier and more encouraged.
What it does
This bot helps a student keep track of assignments. It also provides encouragement to the user.
How I built it
I built this bot using Python and the telegram bot API.
Challenges we ran into
It was challenging to securely store data entered by users. Due to a lack of time, I configured the storage within data structures in the Python code. However, I would have preferred to link the content to a database instead.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Given the time frame, I'm happy I managed to learn something new and create a telegram bot for the first time. I had a lot of fun and I look forward to creating more bots in the future.

I learned the importance of picking up skills quickly in a short span of time
What's next for Trutina Study Bot
I would like to add more comprehensive functionality and structure the bot to be used in a telegram group as well. This way, students can help one another keep track of shared assignments as well.
