TruthGuard

Inspiration

Due to the rise of AI today anyone can create a fake AI video/photo and in some cases even fake news. This confuses general public. In some cases it might also take a severe turn.

What it does

Our app identifies which one is a real news and which one is not using AI. The app also detects if any media is made using AI or not. Our user friendly graphical user interface makes it easy even for a 10year old to use our service. We plan in partnering with lawyers to make ethical AI system.

How we built it

We built this app using- typescript, react, tailwind, vite, css3

Challenges we ran into

The main challenges we ran into were increasing the probability of AI detecting whether or not it's fake. This required us training the AI with large number of datasets and training via different tests.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of providing services to few hundred people within past couple days. We are aiming to reach a thousand in next few months

What we learned

We need legal guidance from lawyers in making ethical AI. Sometimes a small mistake can cause us a big damage to the company legally.

What's next for TruthGuard

Partnering with government and UN. Talking with lawyers in building ethical AI
