Inspiration I scroll through social media often and it's difficult for me to tell what's true or not. I see how fake news divides our country every day and I want to help put an end to it.
What it does Categories text as either fake or real using machine learning.
How we built it It can be built with a fake or real news data set and BERT, a natural language processor.
Challenges we ran into I was unable to get access to BERT so I was unable to use it in my project
Accomplishments that we're proud of I'm proud that I extended my knowledge of machine learning.
What we learned I learned about the devasting effects fake news has on people, especially in America. I also learned more about BERT and how it was made and used.
What's next for Truth In the future, I hope this can be implemented into all social media apps so people can trust what they read on social media.
