What We Learned: During the development of Germ Squad, we gained insights into the importance of combining education with entertainment, especially when targeting a younger audience. How We Built Germ Squad: Germ Squad was built using a combination of technologies to ensure a user-friendly and interactive experience. The game was built on AWS PartyRock fondational AI. The backend logic was implemented using a lightweight framework to process user inputs and generate accurate infection risk outputs.

The app utilizes interactive widgets for input and output, creating an immersive learning experience. Animated characters and scenarios were incorporated to make the learning process more enjoyable for children. The preventive measures and disease fact chart widgets were designed with a focus on clarity and simplicity to enhance understanding.
