Inspiration

I wanted to build a project that can help smooth tensions after riots that happned at congress

What it does

Takes in searches from google and labels them as liberal or conservative before serving it to you

How I built it

Challenges I ran into

Not knowing how to build a machine learning model, not knowing a good architecture for a machine learning model, not knowing how to process text in pandas/numpy

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Being able to confidently predict the party of a news article and making my site look pretty and minimalists

What I learned

I learned the nltk stack from sratch, the flask stack, how to create neural networks in keras and tensorflow. Learning html and css from scratch

What's next for TrueSearch

To optimize the code, and even deploy it to a website where it can serve people
