Turning Driving Behavior into Real-World Rewards 🧩 Inspiration
Millions of vehicles already generate data every day through systems like Tasco’s VETC infrastructure.
But today, that data is mostly passive — it’s collected, but not meaningfully returned to the driver.
We asked a simple question:
What if driving better could directly benefit you?
💡 What it does
Drive-to-Earn is a smart reward system that turns everyday driving into tangible value.
Drive safely → earn points Maintain your car → earn more Follow eco-friendly routes → get rewarded
Users can:
track their driving score receive real-time insights redeem rewards like car washes or maintenance services
👉 It feels like a car companion app, not a tech product.
⚙️ How we built it
- 🤖 AI Layer – Understanding Driving Behavior
We use AI to analyze:
speed patterns braking behavior trip consistency
→ Output: a Driving Score (0–100) and behavior insights
- 🎁 Reward System – Simple & Familiar
Instead of introducing complex concepts, we use:
points (not tokens) rewards (not crypto jargon)
Users can instantly redeem:
car wash services maintenance discounts ecosystem perks
- 🔗 Invisible Web3 Layer (Optional)
Behind the scenes, we can integrate Web3 to:
secure ownership of rewards enable portability across services create long-term value
👉 But users never need to know this. They just enjoy the benefits.
🧠 Key Insight
People don’t care about blockchain. They care about better experiences and real value.
So instead of building a Web3 product, we built a useful product first — with Web3 quietly supporting it.
🚀 Why it matters Encourages safer driving Promotes regular vehicle maintenance Builds a loyalty ecosystem across mobility services
For platforms like Tasco, this transforms raw data into a user engagement engine.
🛠️ Challenges we ran into Designing a scoring system that feels fair Making rewards meaningful without being complex Hiding technical complexity while keeping scalability 📈 What’s next Integrate real-time data from VETC systems Expand reward partners (insurance, fuel, parking) Introduce advanced features for power users (NFT vehicle identity, transferable rewards) 🔥 Final thought
We’re not changing how people drive. We’re rewarding them for driving better.
