Inspiration
Finding the right supplier is a nightmare for brokers. It can take hundreds of calls just to get a response. The process is slow, frustrating, and inefficient. We wanted to fix that.
What it does
Truckers Meet Bagel helps brokers find suppliers instantly. Instead of searching manually (PULL), our system automatically suggests (PUSH) the best suppliers based on what the broker is selling. Think of it like TikTok for B2B sales—we learn what brokers need and deliver the right suppliers without them having to search.
How we built it
Web Scraping – We scraped Costco to collect supplier data (brand, location, size, price). AI with Cohere – We analyze broker behavior and automatically suggest suppliers they need. Automation – Our system keeps data updated and recommends new suppliers daily.
Challenges we ran into
Web Scraping and Crawling: Costco didn’t allow easy scraping and crawling, which required some other ways to get the data. Getting the relevant data
