Inspiration

This was one of my dreams long before I knew about blockchain. Every boy wants to make a game at one time or another, but not every boy has the opportunity or the time. And my idea is to help them make it happen.

What it does

Do a powerful zero - based game production software. And its target, I think, is steam. I'd like to briefly state this project, but it's actually a very complicated and difficult project to understand. Like what is TRPG? If it is simply understood as a game of one kind or another, the project has no appeal. I think if people who know TRPG have no problem understanding what TRPG is, but if they don't, I think it's hard to explain. To put it simply, a human is hired as a referee, a group of people around the table to think, each person may play a country, a role or even a power, and the referee plays the game according to the plot of the book. This TRPG transition to the PC era, in fact, all role-playing games (Diablo, galgame, World of Warcraft), strategy games (Age of Empires, Starcraft), even MOBA games (dota, lol) except shooting and sports games are actually TRPG. In other words, if you design a TPRG map editing software, you can basically meet the needs of 80% of players. I think even if the concept of TRPG is popularized, it may not be intuitive. Try to think of it this way. With steam, if a large percentage of the game is done in the form of Warcraft, it can be done. The specific idea I had in mind was to design an industrial enough model to mass-produce the game. The Warcraft editor is still too difficult for today's people to get started with. What I'm looking for is a zero-code, zero-base map editor. You have to have zero difficulty to get more users to participate. And it was designed for a whole class of TRPGS, not just strategy games. Cryptocurrency is a dream maker, and I'm after a dream machine.

How we built it

Without this activity, my original intention was to use php swoole, but if I get a reply, I may have to change my plans, perhaps even relearn the new technology stack or eliminate my programming. First of all, it only needs a map full of squares. Ideally, it should be a top-down game, not a 3d game. This design will make the game lightweight, which can be implemented in java or c++. Various characters can be divided into different forms, such as turn-based, real-time and other forms of movement, but should not be limited to role games, strategy games or even card games, although these problems seem to be difficult, but with some thought can be solved.

Of course, this is a huge,tedious, albeit not difficult, project, which is equivalent to cramming a lot of games into a box.

We had great times 100 years ago when people had great ideas. Most people feel the same way now, and I'm a little tired of it.

What's next for TRPG editor

Once the platform has been built, it would be foolish to expose it only to some game makers. The important thing about this platform is that it's for people who can't program, and the biggest story on this platform is to let the player make up their own story, and even the game should allow the player to make up the story simultaneously while playing. When such freedom is present, the natural spread of the game alone will allow the platform to persist. I never thought the game market is a blue ocean market, like electric dealer market is saturated, but even so saturated, China still has a pinduoduo of such unconventional business model, even the encryption currency itself is part of a similar concept, it pay attention to is that some people never pay attention to the largest group. So if you ask what the market size of this commodity is, it's unimaginably large. The competition, I'm comparing it to steam, epic, it's not easy, but the revenue is definitely beyond imagination. As for why now? Because the gamefi market is like the DVD market back in the day, distributed by a single exchange or publisher, no one ever wanted to make a platform, because no one could easily hold a monopoly on the web3 gaming world. Launching a game is expensive, and this platform solves the problem at its source. He will eventually take over the market by mass-producing the game. At the end of the everything - All games, even games that are not part of the platform's technology, will come to the platform. So why now? Because the first one is important.
