As students, we recognized that managing our time wisely for schoolwork, extracurricular activities, and other responsibilities are difficult. Troopin' assists with combatting this problem by offering an easy-to-use interface for setting daily tasks.

What it does

Trooping allows users to organize their daily tasks. They can add tasks with additional features such as when it is due and the priority of it. Troopin' also has a self-timer so the user can keep track of how much work they spend on it.

How we built it

We built Troopin' with HTML, CSS, and JS.

Challenges we ran into

One challenge we ran into was properly using local storage to save tasks. Since we learned everything from scratch, learning how each language can be effectively coded was hard as well.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are most proud that we made a website in 2 days. With no prior knowledge, we had to spend a lot of time learning each language. We are also proud of being able to get the local storage to work, as it was the largest roadblock during this process.

What we learned

We started the weekend with no knowledge about programming in HTML, CSS, or javascript. But by creating this planner, we learned how to use effectively these languages to create our own program. One particularly hard thing we learned is implementing local storage.

What's next for Troopin' - Online Planner

To further build Troopin', we can allow users to sort the tasks by priority and by the due date. We also plan to make it so the user makes multiple online planners and creates copies of one.
