Inspiration

The lack of transparency in traditional fundraising platforms motivated us to build a solution that leverages blockchain technology. We wanted to create a platform where contributors can trust that their funds are used as promised, with no middlemen involved.

What it does

TronFundYou is a decentralized fundraising platform built on the TRON blockchain. It allows users to create campaigns and raise funds for personal or community causes. It supports donations in TRX and USDD, giving flexibility to contributors.

How we built it

We used the TRON blockchain to deploy smart contracts that manage campaign creation, fund collection, and conditional release of funds. TronWeb was used for blockchain interactions in the frontend, ensuring smooth communication between the platform and the TRON network. Our frontend is built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, creating a user-friendly interface for both campaign creators and donors.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating TronWeb with the frontend was a learning curve, especially when ensuring the seamless execution of smart contracts.
