When we saw a Leap Motion sensor on the list of available hardware, we immediately leaped for it. Having done robotics in the past, we wanted to use the hand tracking to control a robot. It needed to be something easy to pick up, so we decided to use a tank style driving system. We ended up finishing this part about half way through, so we added some more features. A raspberry pi with a small router was used to remotely connect and program the robot. The addition of a Bluetooth speaker inside also let use make fun horse noises very easily.
