Inspiration

I love trivias and ever since my high school days we used to compete with my friends on all kinds of topics to find out who was good at what topics. Some of our favourite topics were Game of thrones,football,marvel and DC comic verses among other topics. I did my research and the market did not seem to have an application that focused on custom trivias. That is when Trivy was born.

What it does

Trivy basically allows a user to create a custom trivia with questions of their choice. The user inputs a question and a respective answer. The user can input a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 15 questions. The user can then move forward to select an animated scene of their choice and finally share the code to access the quiz to persons of their choosing via sms.

How we built it

Trivy is a simple application and thus we were able to utilise the power of Flutter & Dart with a firebase backend to store data and anonymously authenticate users.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge we faced was creating the app to be adaptive and responsive.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Proud that we were able to complete the project and with very few bugs.

A great deal in flutter and firebase technologies.

What's next for Trivy

We hope to offer a variation of trivias i.e true or false questions, this or that questions among others.
