General Overview
Inspiration
As high school students in Slovakia preparing for our Mocks in 30 days, we've unanimously recognized the power of flashcards for effective revision. In our hackathon project, we focused on crafting a Trivia Flashcard generator to facilitate efficient learning across diverse areas of knowledge.
What it does
It generates flashcards that ask a question about a specific topic. The user can flip the flashcard to see the correct answer. It helps you memorize things effectively as flashcards are scientifically proven to be effective for absorbing new information.
How we built it
We built it using VScode. We used VScode, Javascript, CSS to make the product. We had meetings on how to resolve certain issues.
Challenges we ran into
For all four of us, it was our first time, coding front-end. Hence, we found it hard to resolve errors in our code and we faced a lot of syntax errors in the beginning of our journey.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
All four of us were new to JavaScript but We managed to complete the task by continuous research and effort.
What we learned
We enhanced our collaborative skills and we learned front-end design such as React and CSS.
What's next for Trivia Flashcard Generator
We hope to publish the application with improvements.
