Trivia Discord Bot

Inspiration

Wanted to create a quiz bot to allow us to use active recall in discord. To make the project simple we worked our way down to a simple trivia game.

What it does

Allows discord users to play a 30 question trivia game alone or with friends. The bot keeps track of the number of questions a user answers right.

How we built it

The bot is built using python, repl.it, and uptimerobot.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into a few challenges by being a bit too ambitious involving the code we used which resulted in us having to rethink how to implement the bot.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud we were able to complete the project.

What we learned

We learned about python, this included learning about the discord.py library, files, and more.

What's next for Trivia discord bot

We would like to allow users to answer questions by reacting to messages with emojis.
