Inspiration

Wandering through lands unknown, I've realized that travel though magical often leaves explorers tangled in logistics. From confusing PNRs to language barriers and local scams, the modern traveler deserves more than fragmented tools. Thus, Areeio was born an AI-powered suite reimagining how we explore, plan, and experience the world. It’s not just a product; it’s a companion for the global travellers. The is the only platform for Tourist to avoid scams and use reputed raid-hailing services,break the language barrier with our live conversational agent and Plan and manage their trips,flight and hotels all in a single suite making it easy to access.

What it does

It helps travellers plan their trips with an cutting edge AI which searches the plans and suggests best budget trips and activities as an travel agent. Travellers can plan their trips an diwth the affialted partners they can even book tickets within the module, and they can manage their booking with multiple features enabling seamless access to all airlines around the world at one suite making it a one stop solution. And the third module which is Local transport module uses API integration and ride-hailing providers of different cities based on location and can also integrate the local transport options of top cities to guide the travellers travel within the cities which helps them not to get scammed.And the final module which is an voice enabled 3-way translator helping people communicate the native peoples.

How we built it

Areeio is your all-in-one post-booking travel assistant designed to simplify every part of the journey: PNR Lookup: Retrieve and manage booking details with just your PNR + last name. TripMate AI: A smart, conversational planner powered by AI that can design and optionally book trips via Trip.com. LocalTransport: Discover verified local rides or ride-hailing options to avoid scams. Live Translator: A 3-way real-time translator for seamless global communication. All modules communicate with each other to ensure context-rich, smooth travel experiences.

Challenges we ran into

Setting up Supabase Edge Functions to work harmoniously with modular API logic. Creating seamless chat experiences that remember context across multiple modules. Integrating third-party services like Trip.com while maintaining UI/UX harmony. Making real-time translation not just functional but natural and fast. Working with Bolt.new was fun but everychange overrides other parts which leads to inconsistency and time waste. RevenueCat Integration was another challenge as Stripe wasnt available for Indians. Integrating Tavus is such a haul as it has become issue integrating them. They must improve their User-Experience. Deploying to netlify often came up with soo many erros as Bolt.new was importing things but not using or naming errors etc.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

A working Beta version prototype that links PNR lookups, AI planning, and local transport into one flow. Dynamic chat interface with clickable buttons, not just boring plain text replies. Successfully building a multi-module ecosystem that talks to itself! Vision. Scalability. Design. It’s future-ready.

What we learned

Supabase Edge Functions are powerful but need careful architecture for modular expansion. Building AI assistants is not just about prompts—it’s about designing conversations. Users want real control: clickable actions, live previews, and easy access. Speed and context in travel apps are not optional—they are non-negotiable. Building with AI is a easy way but not effecient. We can just make a system for better AI developers to maintaing consistency and focus the targets by not overriding other parts. I will definetly look after something to mak ethese agents work better.

What's next for Areeio

This isnt another booking engine. This is focued on the trip management services with tools as different odules. Where each module will become the subpart of our startup. As currently we have built with the bolt.new I haven't focused on the backed side but ive built the beta version to present my idea. Launching a business dashboard module to let agencies manage GDS and issue tickets. Adding TripGPT, an enhanced version of TripMate with voice, memory, and full itinerary visualization. Real-time flights + hotel price tracking using APIs. Integrating with the GDS systems to offer real time plans,routes,bookings etc. Expanding into embedded assistants for other travel platforms. Global rollout, starting with India → Southeast Asia → Europe. This isn’t just a hackathon project. This is the blueprint for a borderless, frictionless travel future.
