TriSe: Triton Seekers

Inspiration

Inspired by other map and rating apps like Yelp & Beli, I wanted to make an app where first-years or UCSD students in general could find the perfect spot on campus, whether it's food, studying, or just finding somewhere new to explore!

What it does

Acting as a map, users can find locations on campus, but TriSe also has interactive parts to it! Users can favorite / pin their most liked locations, create a profile to save their favorite places and write reviews about the locations!

How we built it

I used the Lovable.dev pro plan that was provided to us by the Lovable company to build my entire application! Lovable really helped with designing the UI of my application, and with programming the entire thing too!

Challenges we ran into

I had issues with getting the map, but with some trial and error and assistance from Lovable, I was able to get the map on the app!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This was my first ever Hackathon! And I did this all by myself :D Although it's not that good I'm very proud of what I made :)

What we learned

I need to arrive earlier next time... and also possibly try to find teammates because I think it definitely would've been easier with friends!

What's next for TriSe: Triton Seekers

Maybe I'll continue using Lovable to make Triton Seekers more accessible and reliable to use as an actual app!
