Inspiration
We are French exchange students struggling to plan a road trip with our girlfriends.
What it does
Our revolutionary tool will plan your entire trip for you from selecting activities and renting a car to booking your hotel.
How we built it
We started with the idea and, through multiple phases enabled by this event, developed the following stack: an orchestrator that employs different agents and tools to plan the entire trip. Finally, we: • Use Stych for the authentication procedure • Use Gemini for our agents • Use Weights & Biases to manage our calls
Challenges we ran into
We encountered several issues, such as: • Not having the necessary API keys. • Being rate-limited by the Google Maps API. • Searching for an open-source API that did the same thing.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have created something usable that will help us plan our road trip.
What we learned
We learned how to use Stych, perform function calling with Gemini, and utilize Weights & Biases.
What's next for TripPlanner
We’ll use it personally and see if it’s scalable maybe even turn it into our startup.
