Inspiration

Travel agents waste a lot of time doing data entry tasks. They spend 4+ hours reading through long, messy emails from clients, searching for flights, and manually sending out invoices that take forever to get paid. I built Triponic to handle the boring stuff so agents can focus on the travel. It takes a chaotic client request and turns it into a professional, ready-to-pay itinerary in seconds.

What it does

Triponic is a platform that automates trip planning and payment collection for travel agents. Instead of an agent manually researching flights and hotels, they simply paste a messy, unstructured client email into our dashboard. Our AI "swarm" extracts the hard data, like budget and location and builds a professional, day-by-day itinerary. To close the loop, it generates a specific QR code so the client can scan and pay instantly via Apple Pay, removing the need for slow PDF invoices or app downloads.

How we built it

I built Triponic using an enterprise-grade stack focused on security and intelligence:

1) Auth0: Used to handle secure logins and keep agency and client data separate and protected. 2) Backboard.io: Powers our AI swarm(Multi Agent System), allowing our agents to understand traveler intent and route the trip to the correct checkout links. 3) Google Gemini: Acts as the extraction engine for messy text and a verification guardrail to ensure the final plan matches the client's request. 4) Reactiv: Turn itineraries into instant revenue by routing travelers to a curated storefront where they can buy trip-specific essentials like ski passes using a one-tap Apple Pay checkout. 5) Cloudinary: Storing all out image and video assets.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest hurdle was the technical "hand-off" between different AI agents. I had to ensure that if the system identified a client’s preference for skiing, that specific intent stayed attached to the itinerary all the way until it generated a "winter-sports" checkout link. Getting these separate pieces to communicate perfectly without hallucinating details was a significant challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of building a functional B2B tool that solves a real business problem, the "operational bleed" in travel agencies. Successfully integrating complex orchestration from Backboard with the ease of Reactiv’s one-tap checkout feels like a major win for small business efficiency.

What we learned

I learned that while AI is great for planning, the "last mile" of the experience the payment is where the real value is for a business. By removing the friction of app downloads and manual invoices, saw how much faster a lead can turn into a confirmed, paid booking.

What's next for Triponic

I am moving toward a full "Smart Import" ecosystem. Next step is allowing agents to drag and drop any image or PDF like a flight confirmation or a screenshot of an e-ticket and having our AI vision model instantly index that data into the CRM. The goal is to secure our first 25 paying agency partners and process our first $500,000 in transactions.
