Android application written in native Java for sustainable travelling via Google Maps, OpenTripMap and OpenWeatherMap API integrations. This application curates the most sustainable recreational activities that tourists can get in their vicinity! even considering the weather! This is the only app you will ever need!

Details: we used google's cloud APIs to visualise the user's (tourist) vicinity. We then scan the area for places that might be of interest for the user, filtering for recommended points of interest by weather data obtained from Open Weather API. Finally, we use an empirically based algorithm to calculate the average carbon emission by driving or taking an UBER to any given point of interest.
