# ✈️ TripCraft AI

## Inspiration
We wanted to simplify travel planning by combining AI with a modern, user-friendly experience. Instead of using multiple apps, users can plan an entire trip in one place.

## What it does
TripCraft AI generates personalized itineraries, hotel and restaurant recommendations, budget breakdowns, packing checklists, and safety tips using Google Gemini. It also includes a **Pivot My Day** feature to adapt plans when travel conditions change.

## How we built it
Built with **React, Vite, Tailwind CSS, Framer Motion, Google Gemini API, Recharts, and Leaflet**, then deployed on **Vercel**.

## Challenges
Our biggest challenge was integrating AI responses into a clean, interactive interface while maintaining a smooth user experience.

## What we learned
We learned how to integrate generative AI into a modern web application, improve UI/UX, and build a functional MVP under hackathon time constraints.
