Trip Rescue AI is an AI-powered travel recovery agent designed to help travelers manage unexpected disruptions, such as flight cancellations and itinerary changes.
Instead of making travelers handle every step manually, Trip Rescue AI retrieves trip information, explores alternatives, and generates coordinated recovery plans. Users review and approve plans before execution, keeping important decisions under their control.
The system includes safeguards for concurrent operations, interrupted execution, and uncertain outcomes. It also supports a separate notification approval workflow and tracks delivery status.
Built with React, TypeScript, Python FastAPI, MCP (Model Context Protocol) using Streamable HTTP, and SQLite, Trip Rescue AI demonstrates how agentic AI can coordinate multi-step workflows through a browser-based Recovery Cockpit.
The current demo uses simulated travel and notification providers.
