Inspiration
The inspiration for this game came from our shared joy of racing games. We wanted to make something that we both enjoyed and a racing game that helped studying seemed the right way to go.
How it works
Its a very simple game. The kart starts immediately and all the player must do is go around the track three times and win the race....But wait, then they have to answer five questions in either math or science and that determines whether they win or lose.
Challenges I ran into
Well as with any project, challenges were found. One problem we ran into was that the kart would start on its own for no reason and we were unable to set up more than three minutes of sound track.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Well, we sure turned our challenges into success by making it so the kart starting on its own is just how the game is played and the small amount of music was circumvented by making it the best three minutes of music we could find.
What I learned
We learned that making an app is not an easy process and that as you go through, remember that your teammates are not acting against you, we are all trying to work together to make the app and it's just a frustrating yet rewarding process.
What's next for Trinity Ring
Next, we predict possible updates with more maps, more subjects for questions, and random questions for a more challenging game play.
