Inspiration

Setting goals is easy to say and do, but maintaining discipline is a great challenge in life. Often, we fail to stick to or keep up with our goals because we fall into laziness or simply don’t make time to follow through. This application will allow athletes and people with fitness goals to share their current status, objectives, and see others’ progress in a dynamic and fun way.

What it does

It allows the user to log in with their Twitter handle, specify a fitness goal, and set a deadline. Then, it enables the user to check in and track their progress in the app, including how many check-ins they’ve made, their longest streak, and their deadline, encouraging them to keep up with check-ins to maintain their consistency.

How we built it

We used Supabase for data storage, and the rest was managed with HTML animations to make the interface engaging.

Challenges we ran into

With a single prompt, it was very difficult to integrate sign-on directly with Twitter, so we decided to let users log in without any validation.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It’s a beautiful and fun interface for tracking the recurrence of physical activities, and it also allows users to keep a shareable history of their activities.

What we learned

Animations are essential if we want to incorporate gamification elements. They enhance the content and engage users to log their activities daily.

What's next for Trinit

Implement Twitter login, enable sharing images of results on Twitter or other social media, and add images to foster greater engagement with the activity.
