Inspiration
COVID 19 Misinformation can spread like wildfire. Trillium was built to help reduce COVID misinformation by using its three main components to keep everyone safe and informed
What it does
Trillium like the flower of 3 it is named after, has 3 main components
Component one, COVID 19 survey. Part one questions the user to see if they are should be socializing. Depending on the questions, the user will either be safe to social, not recommended to social or recommended to isolate.
Component two, a True and False game. To inform the users, we decided to create an engaging game to help inform the users about the truth of COVID conspiracies.
Component three, a COVID resource library. This library of information is reliable and can be searched through to find what you are looking for. It helps to inform the users using reliable sources.
How I built it
I used android studio, Java and XML
Challenges I ran into
-Time was a big problem, I only finished an hour before the deadline
Accomplishments that I am proud of
I were able to complete the project and all three components ran as they were intended
What I learned
I learned more about front end coding and how to deal with time pressure
What's next for Trillium
-I would like to add more languages to broaden the market -I would like to add more true and false questions -I would like to add more reliable sources to the library
