Inspiration
I took advanced math and never really learned the unit circle. But after seeing all my friends struggle and spend countless hours trying to learn it, I decided to try and help them.
What it does
It randomizes trigonometric expressions and answers into tiles. It then becomes a memory game, matching the correct expression and their respective answers.
How we built it
I used pygame to build the interface and several functions to support the program.
Challenges we ran into
Some challenges I ran into were ensuring the correct answer matched the correct equations. I had to assign each pair with a number to map the correct answers to the correct equation.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
My final product and its ability to help my friends and other schoolmates is something that I take pride in.
What we learned
Mapping keyboard commands and mouse position and identifying regions that the mouse is in.
What's next for Trigo-match-etry
I hope to use AI to bring this matching game to a more large-scale use, customizable based on the user's requests.
