Inspiration

To be honest, the idea just kinda came up in our heads. Not an insane backstory.

What it does

Users can input a youtube video link, and then can say if it has certain types of triggers that might trigger someone. Other users can see if other people have voted triggers on that video.

How we built it

We used a python -> website localhost, which allowed us to code in python and run it graphically on a website. Once that was finished, we used firebase to make a database to store the user's inputs in.

Challenges we ran into

The firebase database was a very complicated process that took the most time to understand and figure out.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Learning databases in 2 days.

Figure out exactly what you need to do before you start creating your hackathon project.

What's next for Triggers Website

Maybe more functionality with other video-sharing platforms.
