Inspiration

Our team loves playing video games and when we heard the theme was magic, that was our first inspiration

What it does

It is a game of chance where the player is supposed to have a certain amount of lives (clicks) to find the wizard before you are too tired to chase him (run out of clicks) or lose all your lives from his traps

How we built it

React/JS for functionality, CSS/Tailwind for front-end design

Challenges we ran into

Flipping card animations, linking the start page to the game page, centering the game board, and mainly running out of time before adding all of our features

Accomplishments that we're proud of

First completed game at a hackathon within such a short period of time

What we learned

A lot more about how to utilize React.js, Tailwind, and other frameworks to speed up our progression

What's next for Tricky Wizard

Improvements to design and more features such as displaying your health bar, finishing the lose condition, adding more animations
