Inspiration

Online communities - while fun - lack a sense of realness Finding groups near you is difficult:

• Many groups are private and locked in WhatsApp chats and Facebook Groups
• Many groups don’t have an online presence
• Browsing group websites is time-consuming and not efficient.

What it does

Triber combines the best of online and in-person clubs and groups. We allow people to easily search for in-person groups and connect with them online, all on one platform.

How we built it

We built it on Figma.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into a challenge with privacy and security. We overcame this by allowing people the choice between searching with location services or their zip code.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We made a beautiful app that we think would be useful for making friends IRL outside of school environments.
