Market place for Trent University students
How we built it
It was created through React and we used an image classifier and AI model to help us render the image and give us a price prediction
Challenges we ran into
Having different branches and trying to merge them into one which caused merge conflicts and code not working for some people because different dependencies were downloaded on the person machine when they uploaded there project
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Making a somewhat marketplace where people could post there listings and it shows the photo of the listing at a decent price as well as making features along the way for are market place like having a database like snowflake to return our consumers id and price of the image.
What we learned
We learned alot of React for frontend and we learned how to pull APIs from amazon and put them into a DB for snowflake to send it to our backend which sends it to our frontend as well as learning python for backend

Expanding for consumers and building a bigger DB snowflake
