Inspiration

The inspiration behind TreePersona was to create a fun and interactive way for people to learn about different types of trees and promote nature awareness.

What it does

TreePersona is an online personality matching test that uses the OpenAI API to suggest a type of tree that matches the user's input based on their personality and preferences.

How we built it

We used OpenAI API as a core, used react to build it. We used css to design, and SurveyJS to get user input.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges we ran into was ensuring that the OpenAI API generated accurate and meaningful prompts that reflected the user's input. Also, we had a trouble switching a Json Object to an array to get user information.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of the way we collaborated using Git and GitHub, which allowed us to effectively manage and organize our code, and this is surely the biggest area we improved compared to last hackathon.

What we learned

We learned a lot about working with JSON data and integrating it into our React application, which helped us deepen our understanding of these technologies. Also, we gained valuable insights to collaborating in programming and how to use APIs to increase productivity.
