Inspiration

The need to connect students, professors, institutions, and others in an academic focussed platform.

What it does

It is a platform used in the academic world to share resources, information, and news regarding universities, research, projects, etc. In a nutshell, a social media platform for the academic world.

How we built it

Using Flutter development programming language. We used VS code as our IDE.

Challenges we ran into

Learning the new language and at the same time programming and creating an app out of it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Its design and functionality we have achieved in a short amount of time. Moreover, we believe that it's the starting of a billion-dollar industry in the educational world.

What we learned

We learned a significant level of flutter and how to use it. Next time, we will be more experienced with it.

What's next for Tree

A new feature that is still in work in progress - GeoSchool - which is an API map system that shows all the schools and universities around a specific user location in order to allow them to find and connect.
