**Inspiration**

Our inspiration to create this game is the fact that the negative effects of climate change are starting to be more intense around the globe. Since the United States has not seen the worst of these effects, we are still the second biggest contributor to greenhouse gas emissions.

                    **What it does** 

In this game, the player is in charge of defending the trees from enemies who try to hurt them. The way to get rid of the enemies is to click on them, and the difficulty gradually increases.

                    **How we built it**

We made many enemy sprites and set them on a course towards the trees. We wrote code for when the enemy is clicked on, they disappear.

                    **Challenges we ran into**

Since we divided the work we had trouble bringing multiple features together. Another challenge we faced was having the difficulty increase by having the enemies reappear.

                    **Accomplishments that we're proud of**

Something we are proud of is being able to get the code that spawns enemies, to be consistent. Another thing we are proud of was that we were able to work as a team and put together our ideas and individual work.

                   ** What we learned**

We learned how to work as a team more efficiently.

                    **What's next for Tree Story**

If we had more time we would add other features like levels, and design our own sprites.
