PCOS Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a prevalent endocrine disorder affecting 8–13% of women worldwide, often resulting in metabolic complications such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. The increasing demand for PCOS treatments highlights the need for safer and more effective alternatives. This study investigates the potential of TCM herbal remedies, including herbs like cinnamon, licorice, spearmint, and green tea, to regulate lipid metabolism and alleviate PCOS symptoms. Specifically, the research method includes 2 steps : 1.Bioinformatic analysis to identify active compounds in TCM herbs that target PCOS pathways 2. Extracting bioactive chemicals using Supercritical Fluid Extraction and verifying the purity and efficacy of the extracted sample through spectrometry. By addressing the gap in alternative PCOS treatments, this study aims to provide a cost-effective, natural approach to alleviate PCOS symptoms, contributing to women's health.
