Inspiration
I wanted to create an easier and more interactive way to do scavenger hunts with friends and family. The pirate theme treasure map is a plus.
What it does
It allows you to plan a scavenger hunt. You can create a list of activities based on a specific location.Then you can use the web app to keep track of the activities done.
How I built it
Using javascript to handle user interaction and css and html for the UI. To handle getting and tracking the location I used radar.io and to display that visually I used google maps.
Challenges I ran into
-How to structure the list of activities. -How to best display the activities on the map.
- How to transfer the data when it is time to do the scavenger hunt.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
- The scavenger hunt's map looks like a pirate themed treasure map.
- Was able to get more familiarized with radar.io and google maps api.
