Treasure Chest

Inspiration

We all love saving memorable events that we treasure. Treasure chest is inspired by Hackabull's pirate theme and lets users journal about their special memories and create a timeline for them to view later on.

What it does

Allowing users to select the most significant event of the day via a photograph, Treasure Chest aims at helping users to make a collection of memories

How we built it

We built the application using Flutter for multiple platform functionality. Additionally, Justinmind was used for the app's UI/UX.

Challenges we ran into

Being newbie programmers, we ran into multiple hurdles while coding the app. One main challenge was to create a list of the images uploaded by the user and display it on a timeline.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very proud of the fact that we got this far and were actually able to code the project in a limited time frame.

What we learned

Making this project gave us more exposure to coding in Flutter and allowed us to explore the different things that Flutter is capable of doing. We learned that while a graphic designer can be over-ambitious with the UI, it takes a lot of undiverted attention to actually build the app.
