TRAWELL: Your Personalized Weekend Escape Itinerary Generator - Crafted for Every Travel Dream!

Inspiration: The idea for TRAWELL stemmed from a shared frustration among our team members about the lack of efficient tools for planning weekend getaways. We envisioned a solution that would streamline this process, allowing users to effortlessly create personalized itineraries tailored to their preferences and constraints.

What it does: TRAWELL makes planning weekend trips super easy and tailored just for you. You can make your own custom plans by picking where you want to go, saying how much you want to spend, how many people are going, and picking your top three favorite things to do.

How we built it: We used Streamlit to make a simple website where people can easily plan weekend trips. Simply follow the steps to create your itinerary. We utilized Google PaLM API to generate info on places in real-time!

Challenges we ran into: Building TRAWELL presented several challenges, from technical hurdles to conceptual complexities. We encountered compatibility issues, AI limits, and data inconsistencies that required creative problem-solving and collaboration.
