Because they made things easier - By moving the point-of-sale to your mobile phone and making purchasing easy they engage the customers.
Spotify redefined how we think of genres by introducing moods in to the equation. People are emotional beings and mood is everywhere - and this is a perfect way to tailor any experience around.
So we created TRAVL - a way to make travelling fun
What it does
Engage the user with a gamified way of earning loyalty programme points in a fun, achievement kind of way. Create a "there and back again" experience tailored to the users mood. And most importantly provide a better user-experience by moving the Point-Of-Sale to the phone.
How we built it
We developed a hybrid mobile application for both IOS and Android using Ionic. This includes HTML5 pages using AngularJS, JavaScript and styling with CSS3.
What we learned
Working together with the team and developing on a framework, that was new to all of us.
What's next for travl
Pilot the concept wiht Finnair and Finavia and combine their services into one experience.
